GENERAL LABORATORY DEPT |
Mission:
1. Experiments on building energy characteristics and determining the suction capacity of pumps in laboratories and in the field. 2. Design consultancy, supply, installation and technology transfer of start-up cabinets, control and monitor operations in pumping stations and irrigation works; 3. Consultancy on selection, design and technology transfer of measuring equipment in the irrigation industry; 4. Compiling technical processes and standards on pumps and specialized equipment in the irrigation industry. Facilities, capacity Pump laboratory has built 03 complete testing systems including: 1. The closed-type measuring system is used to measure the parameters and build the energy characteristic curve (HQ; NQ; η-Q) and determine the suction ability and anti-cavitation (NPSH) for the model pumps & full-form pumps with the ability to measure pumps with a motor power up to 75kW, a capacity up to 1,500 m3 / h of up to 20m total head. Figure 1. Testing of a 1200m3 / h 132kW double-suction pump on a closed system 2. Open-type test system with the ability to measure pumps up to 150kW, with a capacity up to 3,600 m3 / h, pressures up to 12m. This system is used to measure parameters and build the energy characteristic curve for full-form pumps. 3. Open test system for testing submersible pumps up to 55kW. This system is used to measure parameters and build energy performance curves. |
